Selling printer supplies, consumables and accessories builds a lasting relationship with your customer, and creates an annuity stream from each customer for your business.

Not only are you earning the annuity stream by selling supplies to a repeat customer, but you are also opening the door for new sales every time you bring them (or install) their consumables.

The average lifecycle of a printer is 3-4 years, this is the point at which the total cost of ownership of the printer (out of warranty repair costs, cost of consumables, energy usage, productivity loss, etc.) becomes higher than actually purchasing a new printer.

If you are known as their printer supplier, then it is more than likely that if you provided them with good service over the life of that printer that they will purchase from you again.
